Guinea pigs live between four and eight years if we offer them all their necessary care. Despite being sociable animals among themselves, guinea pigs are very timid with the rest. The explanation is very simple, guinea pigs always remain hidden to avoid the arrival of predators. Guinea pigs that are accustomed to human contact since babies are usually very affectionate and enjoy caresses and all kinds of attentions.
