For example, a cat reaches adulthood at about two years of age, which can translate into 24 human years. On the other hand, when a cat has reached adulthood and begins to mature progressively into an older feline, the equivalence between human years and animal years decreases. This is because the period separating a baby kitten from a young / adult kitten carries a greater growth and maturation process. This phase is equivalent to a good amount of human years.
